I called for Mark to explain why is there a third box. Well it is a junction box and he did not want to sheet rock it in case they need to access it. I asked why is it facing that way? He said that is the way my dad install it. I love my dad and he is a great engineer, but design is not his best quality.
I told Mark, no it is an eye sore and it needs to change. My father in law and Mark both try to talk me into leaving it because it will have a solid plate cover over it. I said absolutely not, we need to do something different. I do not like it and it needs to go. I finally said why not turn it around so it faces inside the closet?
They had to think about how to change the wiring around but Mark finally agreed. I am very glad because it would have frustrated me every time I walked into that room. The following is Mark covering the hole. :)
Here is the rest of the closet:
Next I worked on smoothing out the mud on the sheet rock in the Middle's bedroom. I was really proud, for the most part it was smooth and did not require a lot of sanding.
Mark was able to sheet rock part of the old formal dining room.
Then I sampled paint for little bit's play room. I think we are going with yellow in the entry as sunshine and then the blue and green as sky and grass. The pink was just too bright and I did not want it too girly in case we every have another baby. I also picked up a small picket fence and I am going to add fake flowers, I have an example of it below. I included some of my inspirations for the play room as well. I think I can make the tree with the colored circles with my silhouette cameo, so I am super excited.
The rest of the evening was spend walking around with Mark's Aunt and Uncle talking about doors. Mark's uncles own a door business, and they are assisting us with selecting the right doors for our house. I am excited about our new doors, and cannot wait for them to come in.
