My in laws spend the day painting trim. I was so impressed with how much they painted. We should be ready to finish putting up trim in the girls room this week.
We spent the evening covering everything so the guys can texture tomorrow.
I did have a learning lesson tonight. Always remember to check the outlets before trying to tape them. Yes, I was shocked this week. As much as we been around wire, one time of being shock is not bad.
As I was taping outlets I realized the switch to the garbage disposal did not have a wire. I had Mark cover and look at the wall. We were afraid we did not run the wire at all. Then we did not want to remove the sheet rock in the kitchen because they were going to be texturing tomorrow. So we decided to remove it from the living room. Luckily the wire was there, and I was able to pull the sheet rock back just enough to slide my hand in between the sheet rock and wall to grab the wire. We also realized the wire for the dishwasher was not there either. That was a close one, I am so happy we caught that one before the cabinets were installed.
Then I notice the sheet rockers did not tape and float a crack in the wall. Luckily they had left some mud, so I was able to do it for them.
