Today we confirmed our carpet order, and they will be installing it on June 24. I did not go over the house today either because I was working late. This was a good week to work late because of the staining in the house. We could not work anyways, so it all worked out perfect.
Our priorities for the house right now are to complete the trim for the pantry so we can get the tile in place. Finish up the fireplace for the tile as well. Then have the Master bedroom and closet painted. There are a few things I am finishing up in the hallway. This way we will be ready for the carpet. Almost there. Once we have the carpet in, we told the girls they can start moving some of there stuff into the house.

Day 91
I worked some what let again tonight, but I left earlier than intended because I had an allergic reaction to something in the air. I think it is mold. My right eye was almost swelled shut, I had a headache, and my face was puffy. Even feeling that bad, I had to go see the cabinets. They just spray the final coat and it was strong. My friend Jered stopped by to see them and he asked if I was trying to get him high. Yes, it was that strong in the house. These pictures are the first of the cabinets, and they are so pretty.
Day 90
I cannot believe it has been three months already. Time sure does fly, it just seems like yesterday we bought the house. I did not go to the house today because little bit has tumbling, but I heard they were staining the cabinets. Also, I had to work late tonight. Work has been really crazy, and we are going on vacation soon so I am trying to get all my projects wrapped up.
Day 89
I feel like today is the start of the wrapping up the house. We had the carpet people come measure the house for carpet. The tile guy came by for measurements and we talked about options for the tile. Then the counter top guy from Unique Kitchen & Bath came by today. Keith was great and gave us some good ideas on the counter tops and even on our island sink. The painters are coming to stain the cabinets this week, they came by today to drop off there stuff. We are starting to head downhill.

Day 88
Today we continued trying to wrap up all the detailed items. Dad came over to work on wiring to the multipurpose room, and almost had a major accident. He slipped and almost went through the ceiling, luckily the sheet rock is the only thing that came down. Mark also put up the trim in the hall way, I finished painting the hallway closet (one coat) and cleaned out our master closet. It had been little bit's area, but now we moved her stuff to the play room.
Where dad almost fell through the ceiling, you can see the sheet rock on the ground.
Trim in the hallway. We still have to replace the lights in the hallways.

The master closet all cleaned out and ready to go.

The attic. Between the stairs the the board you step on there is nothing there. We will have to fix that part later.

Day 87
My goal today was the try to finish all the details on the girls' side of the house. We also accomplished all of it. I need to pick up more tile to finish little bit's room. I finished our middle one's room except for the closet, and I finished sealing our older one's room. The only thing left is little bit's closet, touch up paint in our older girl's room, trim in the hallway, and paint the hallway closet. We are almost there on that side of the house.
The siding is coming along, but I forgot to take a finished picture. I will have to post one later.
The middle one's room all cleaned up and ready for carpet.
GiGi took a nap while I touched up paint in the room.

Day 86
Mark's biggest job today is putting up siding. This will be a challenge since it will rain all weekend, but we have to get it up over the next three days because we are renting a tool to help put it up. I worked on little bit's floor and we were able to put up more trim.

Day 85
We had to go by Home Depot again to check out carpet and put of supplies. We finally decided on flooring while we were there. We also are going to put down the flooring ourselves in the playroom, multipurpose room, and living room. Mark has put down hardwood floors before, so he decided to do it himself. They will come measure for the carpet in a week, so that is exciting.
Day 84
Even though we were barely able to work at the house. My in laws helped out by painting the living room. This week they were able to pain the ceiling and the whole living space. I worked on the dark grey around the doors, mom painted our bathroom, and Mark continued to work on the multipurpose room. It is starting to look like a house.
We put up trim in the pantry area.
Bathroom is getting painted
Mark installed the door to the multipurpose room.
